10 pilgrims killed as bus falls into gorge in J&K after terror attack


A bus carrying pilgrims crashed into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi area, resulting in 10 fatalities and 33 injuries after suspected militants assaulted the vehicle.

Authorities and police in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi area reported that suspected terrorists opened fire on a bus conveying pilgrims from a shrine on Sunday, resulting in ten fatalities and thirty-three injuries. After the attack, the bus tumbled down a ravine.

The terrorist attack The terrorist attack happened at 6:10 p.m. aboard a bus that was returning to Katra from the Shiv Khori temple in Reasi, according to the police.

Police removed every passenger at 8:10 p.m. with the assistance of the nearby villages. The evacuation was overseen by Superintendent of Police (SP) Reasi, who also expedited the injured parties to various hospitals. 

Ten verified deaths have been reported by the police, while the 33 injured have been referred to different hospitals in Reasi, Treyath, and Jammu.
